A Day In The Life Of Our Residents

We want all future residents of Brittany House to feel comfortable and at home right from the start. Moving to a new place and settling into a new routine can be intimidating, so we’ve put together a breakdown of what a typical weekday looks like here to help you get acquainted.

7:00 am - wakeup

7:30 am - breakfast

9:30 am - individual projects in the hub

10:30 am - balloon hockey

12:00 pm - lunch and dessert

1:30 pm - guest speaker on ‘Hasting’s history’

3:00 pm - group crossword puzzles

5:00 pm - dinner

6:00 pm - retire to room

While the activities can change daily, some things remain consistent each week, like our lively trivia competition on Wednesdays and happy hour on Fridays. Everyone is welcome to join in on the activities, but we also have plenty of residents who prefer to spend their time gardening in good weather, making visits into town, relaxing in their rooms, or enjoying visits from family and friends. Meals are typically served in the dining room, where you can enjoy your food in a sunny space with friendly staff and great company.
